For the past two years, I’ve led the marketing and creative direction of Shuk Mediterranean, an independent restaurant in Savannah, GA. My work touched nearly every part of the brand—from social media, photography and campaigns to events, menus, signage and moments woven into the guest experience.

With a steady stream of events at Shuk, I developed a range of print materials and posters designed to communicate quickly without sacrificing personality. Each piece balanced clarity with character, translating the essential—what, when and where into a distinct visual expression while remaining unmistakably Shuk.

I shaped Shuk’s social strategy around a core audience of women ages 26–35, building a content mix that reflected what they were most likely to engage with and share. Consistent stories kept Shuk present throughout the week, while targeted reels and posts gave food, drinks, events, and the restaurant’s atmosphere a wider reach. Specials and new menu items were highlighted through dedicated content, connecting what was happening at Shuk with a clear reason to come in.

Early in my role at Shuk, we identified an opportunity to better serve students and working professionals, with a SCAD building directly across the street. I worked with the owner, managers, and kitchen to develop Shuk at Shuk, a playful Grab & Go concept built around quick, accessible options for customers on the move. To introduce the concept, we offered students a free espresso drink, followed by an ongoing 20% discount to encourage repeat visits. I developed the identity for Shuk at Shuk across signage, stickers, pricing, and promotional materials. The concept became a hit with students and nearby professionals, filling a gap in our fast-casual model and giving customers a new way to experience Shuk without having to sit down.

Shuk Supper Club brought celebrated local chef Roberto Leoci together with Shuk’s head chef, Dan Milner, for a communal prix fixe dinner showcasing Hunter Cattle Farms products. The collaboration was designed to build community, grow brand awareness, and strengthen Shuk’s appeal among food lovers.
I created the menus, signage, social posts, and table cards, blending Shuk’s Mediterranean identity with the vintage character of Hunter Cattle’s branding. My Instagram Stories campaign sold out all 50 seats for the ticketed event in just 12 hours.
